SQM Frontier Management LP (SQM) was founded by John Niepold, Sharif Atta and Don Savage in 2010 to manage listed equity investment strategies in Frontier Africa and the Middle East for institutional institutions including university endowments, charitable foundations and pension funds. The wind down of those strategies commenced in 2020 and since that time, SQM’s remaining partners have served as consultants, advisors and board members to frontier investment firms, funds, and exchanges.
